‘Griffin’ Entry level Violin Outfit, 1/2 Size.

The ‘Griffin’ violin outfit is one of our standard entry level beginner’s outfits. It is a robust instrument suitable for students who have to take their violin to and from school, capable of the rough and tumble that that might entail. It comes fitted up to our ‘Etude’ level with Pirastro Tonica strings and a shaped case with bow and rosin. The Griffin violins represent really good value for money and are ideal beginner’s instruments.

  • Griffin violins are made from solid tonewood with plain maple back, sides and neck and a nice, even grained tonewood top plate.
  • The varnish is applied in an homogenous manner and is a tough coating designed to withstand normal student use.
  • The tuning pegs and fingerboard are of ebony.
  • The images of this violin are generic, as wooden products, there may possibly be some minor variability in grain and varnish colour of actual stock items.
